On March 16, 2010, a joint session was conducted by KSE, CDC and NCCPL at the KSE auditorium to create awareness about various products, services and functionalities among KSE members and their senior staff.
As the focus of the session was to provide procedural awareness to the audience, Karachi Stock Exchange gave a presentation outlining Risk Management measures for market participants in order to enhance the technical understanding of the audience to facilitate their business functions. Through a comprehensive interactive presentation, CDC elaborated on its newly introduced functionality of electronic handling of Letter of Unpaid Rights in CDS and the benefits offered by CDC access – IVR, Web and SMS Services to the Sub-Account Holders under Participant umbrellas. NCCPL also gave a detailed presentation highlighting details about IDS and BTB facilities on NCSS and transparent use of UIN system etc.
A comprehensive Q&A session followed the presentations while officials of all three entities also recorded suggestions from the audience.
