Recognizing the role and importance of human resource management in the workplace has long become one of the dire needs for thriving organizations worldwide. Recently, CDC was registered as an Approved Employer by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the British body for professional accountants. The registration process involved the assessment of CDC’s standards for staff training and development as well as overall learning environment at the organization. This recognition will not only help CDC to attract and retain best talent in the field of accounting and Finance but will also provide an opportunity for existing CDC employees to receive credit for their work experience. Moreover, for internees and management trainees, the work experience of CDC will be recognized and given due credit by ACCA.
As an ACCA Approved Employer, CDC will receive professional development support for its qualified finance professionals and streamline the certification process of its audit professionals. ACCA will further provide recognition for CDC’s existing in-house training policies and will also help simplify trainees’ membership application process. Currently there are a substantial number of ACCA trainees working at CDC offices across Pakistan.
