CDC always takes a proactive approach towards its clients needs, keeping the market’s suggestions and recommendations in close consideration.

Recently, CDC made changes in Sub-Account Setup Module in CDS for sub-account holders above the age of 65 where there is no expiry date on their CNIC / NICOP by enabling the Participants to select the ‘Allow Null Date’ option in the CNIC / NICOP Expiry Date field.

This effort is aimed at providing convenience to senior citizens and to help Participants save time and efforts on sending written requests to CDC for allowing bypass authority to update Sub-Accounts for clients above the age of 65.

This feature is available for all CNIC / NICOP No. fields of the Sub-Account setup module. However, it is important to note that once the ‘Allow Null Date’ option is selected, the system will not allow any further change in this field in future.
