Dear CDS Element,

Business Continuity Planning (BCP) ensures continuity of critical functions of an organization in case of a disaster. As a reliable and responsible institution of national stature, CDC strives to ensure that incase of any unforeseen disaster, the day-to-day operations of its clients are resumed at the earliest with minimum disruption.

This is being made possible through an efficient Business Continuity Plan and drills conducted from time to time during normal operations to test the preparedness in case of any emergency situation.

In this regard, a full day Business Continuity Drill will be conducted for all CDS Elements on any day in the month of January 2012. We are not disclosing the day in order to check our preparedness.

Please note that CDC access IVR (Interactive Voice Reponse System) and Web (www.cdcaccess.com.pk) will not be available during the drill. Moreover, CDS may become unavailable for no more than 2 hours during this exercise. However, our Customer Support Representatives will remain available for your assistance at 0800-23275 (CDCPL).
