Although humans have for centuries
collected into groups for the purpose of accomplishing mutual goals,
it is only in recent years that an organized body of knowledge has
developed, encompassing the theory and practice of human resource
management.
The role of the modern manager is to assemble the best possible work
team and then to provide a supportive motivational environment to
guide the team to accomplish the agreed upon objectives. The Human
Resource Management of Central Depository Company is planned and
executed on modern scientific guidelines.

Motivation:::::::::
The prime method of creating a motivational environment in CDC
is to develop a sense of participation and belonging among all
its employees. The Chief Executive Officer and the heads of departments'
form a closely-knit team in the form of a " Management Committee"
and all major decisions are taken after discussion and mutual
consensus. Suggestions and opinions of all employees are taken
seriously and given due consideration by the departmental heads.
In order to ensure better inter-department coordination and teamwork,
an inter-departmental coordination committee has been formed. The
committee meets once every month. The purpose of this committee is to
ensure better coordination between departments at the junior and
middle management level.
Physiological needs of all employees are fulfilled through a
respectable compensation package and other benefits compatible with
any reputable multinational.
Employees are provided thorough professional training and state of the
art equipment to strengthen their self-confidence and thus cater for
their safety needs.
Social needs of CDC employees are taken care of by encouraging
positive social interaction. We fully share all festive and melancholy
moments of our colleagues and each of us is an equally important
member of the CDC family, with a strong esprit de corps. This mutual
love and respect however, is not allowed to overshadow the needs for
discipline.

company.
