Tariq Mahmood
Mr. Tariq Mahmood is the nominee director of Pak China Investment Company Limited (PCICL). Mr. Tariq has more than twenty years of Corporate & Investment Banking experience, including valuable foreign experience of working in a bank in the USA. He also worked in the Corporate & Investment Banking Group of one of the largest local banks in Pakistan for several years prior to joining Pak China Investment Company in 2010, where he is serving as Executive Vice President / Group Head Investment Banking. He also represents PCICL on the Board of Directors of Deli-JW Glassware (a joint venture company).
His main areas of interest and expertise are private equity, advisory, capital markets and project finance Industries with significant transaction experience involve Financial Services, Steel, Power (Generation & Distribution), Healthcare, Food, Packaging, Textile, Sugar, Cement, Glass, Microfinance, Consumer White Goods Manufacturing, Agriculture (Dairy) and Oil & Gas just to name a few.
Mr. Tariq graduated from New Mexico State University, USA in 1999 and also holds a CFA Charter from CFA Institute, USA. Furthermore, he is also a certified director, having completed the relevant director training program from Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance.
