CDC delegates participated in the 20th ACG Cross Training Seminar held in Shanghai, China
As the sole securities depository of Pakistan, CDC represents Pakistan Capital Market on various regional and international platforms. One of such eminent forums is the Asia Pacific Central Securities Depositories Group (ACG).
Established in 1997, ACG is a representative forum of all the depositories and clearing houses of the Asia-Pacific region which seeks to promote mutual assistance among member organizations. Mr. Aftab Ahmad Diwan, CEO-CDC, is the Vice Chairman of the ACG Executive Committee.
Every year, ACG organizes a cross training seminar for its member organizations, providing a platform for exchange of ideas and expertise between regional CSDs. This year, the 20th Cross Training Seminar was held in Shanghai, China and a six member delegation of CDC participated in the event.
The delegates from CDC shared ideas over diverse matters with members of other depositories and also briefed them about the local practices and developments of Pakistan Capital Market.
Around 100 delegates from 16 countries participated in the training.
