On 5th April 2017, a delegation from Jamiatur Rasheed visited CDC House to learn about the operations of the capital market and the significant role CDC plays to keep it efficient, safe and transparent. A total of 35 students and faculty members were welcomed by the Marketing and Product Development department of CDC. A presentation was conducted by Mr. Farooq Ahmed Butt, briefing the students about capital market operations and measures taken to ensure investor protection. The students were very keen to know about the settlement process that takes place in Central Depository System (CDS). Both the students and faculty showed great appreciation for the efforts of CDC in educating the youth about the importance of the capital markets and expressed interest in being part of more sessions in the future.
